Thinking of visiting Europe during your next summer break? You may find it a lot more amusing and relaxing if you get one of a lot of European cruise tours precisely out of a city such as New York. Now imagine it: one time you are in Rome, and the next you are wandering the streets of Istanbul. You don’t even have to pack up to get to the next destination. Simply relax into your cabin on a extravagant cruise ship and let the sea take you to dream cities across Europe. Without phone communication on the open water it guaranteed you shall have a worry free vacation. Why sail on the sea? You can feel an entirely different holiday by cruising on the rivers.

1. Guadalquivir River: While sailing on the Guadalquivir river, you will definitely feel the country, its traditions, food and wine. You will take a stop to the cities of Jerez and Seville. The vessels are very relaxed.

2. Volga River: It might not be the most luxurious cruise but it certainly has its gems. But don’t be troubled, the cabins are comfortable adequately and the food supplied on-board is excellent. So go cruise the longest European river.

3. Rhine River: You shall travel on an great boat trough five countries as a team of great chefs prepare your extremely great tasting food. You will witness fairytale castles in Germany and party in Amsterdam!

4. Gota Canal: This cruise is in Sweden. This one isn’t a five star cruise also. The bathrooms are common. But if you don’t object to that, you can go for this romantic journey from Stockholm to Gothenburg.

5. Dnieper River: This cruise is a bit longer – you will sail 17 days from Kiev, Ukraine to Istanbul, Turkey. But it’s worth it! Additionally the ship is relaxing and lavish, the cuisine is fantastic. 6. Elbe River: This cruise starts from Berlin. You will see Eastern Germany and a little of Czech Republic. It cotinous for 12 days and a four star vessel gives you everything you want to feel relaxed and secure.

7. Douro River: This one sails in Portugal and Spain. The best journey for wine lovers! This cruise features a number of fabulous wine making parts of the two countries. The ship is excellent, it even has an on board swimming pool!

8. Rhone River: Cruise through France. Tremendously dreamy trip through Rhone Valley including some fantastic excursions available. The vessel is better than some of the five star hotels. 9. Po River: If Italy sounds attractive, go sailing its longest river (even though this is the shortest journey on this list – it lasts just 6 days). The ship is quite good, and the on-board food is great.

10. Danube River: I’m sure you’ve heard the most famous waltz ever! Therefore why not travel the Blue Danube? The trip begins in Germany (Passau) and ends in Hungary (Budapest). The ship is really impressive and relaxed.
